The St. Louis Blues for last year's 2024 World Juniors came out to seven players representing five countries: the United States, the host country of Sweden, Finland, Czechia, and neighboring Slovakia. The 7 players who attended the 2024 World Juniors were Jimmy Snuggerud (US), Dalibor Dvorsky (SVK), Juraj Pekarcik (SVK), Jakub Stancl (CZE), Aleksanteri Kaskimaki (FIN), Otto Stenberg (SWE), and Theo Lindstein (SWE).

The breakdown for day 2 of the event is as follows:

  • J. Pekarcik: No Game

  • D. Dvorsky: No Game

  • A. Kaskimaki: No Game

  • J. Snuggerud: 3G 1A 4P 13:07 TOI

  • T. Lindstein: 0G 1A 1P 18:16 TOI

Day 3 of the 2024 World Juniors saw the big performances from the likes of Jimmy Snuggerud and Otto Stenberg posting hat tricks and Theo Lindstein adding an assist for the day. The craziest part of day 3 was both hat tricks were scored while playing less than 14 minutes of ice time. Slovakia, Czechia, and Finland all had the day off.

2025 Day 3 Performance

Regarding this year's World Juniors being held in Canada, The Blues have a record setting 9 prospects being called up to represent their home countries. Returning to the World Juniors one last time were Jakub Stancl (CZE), Dalibor Dvorsky (SVK), Juraj Pekarcik (SVK), Theo Lindstein (SWE), and Otto Stenberg (SWE). Joining them this year were newly drafted players Colin Ralph (US), Adam Jiricek (CZE), Ondrej Kos (CZE), and Adam Jecho (CZE).

The breakdown for day 3 of the event is as follows:

  • J. Pekarcik: No Game

  • D. Dvorsky: No Game

  • C. Ralph: 0G 1A 1P 17:47 TOI

  • T. Lindstein: No Game

  • O. Stenberg: No Game

  • J. Stancl: 3G 2A 5P 14:57 TOI

  • A. Jiricek: 0G 0A 0P 15:50 TOI

  • O. Kos: 0G 0A 0P 11:34 TOI

  • A. Jecho: 1G 0A 1P 11:28 TOI

This year, Sweden and Czechia have the night off. Colin Ralph, the lone member for the United States, was able to post one assist on the night on the opening goal for the United States' dominating win over the Latvians, who last night upset the host country Canada in a shootout. Colin Ralph was a workhorse tonight, posting over 17 minutes of ice time and contributing to the stalwart defense put on by the American team.

Czechia took on Kazakstan with four Blues prospects in their lineup, and the major standout tonight was Jakub Stancl. While Jiricik, Jecho, and Kos were not as loud on the scoresheet, posting 0G 1A 1P between the three, Stancl was the 2nd player on Czechia to post a hat trick. Posting a scoresheet of 3G 2A for 5P on the night Stancl took what happened last year for Snuggerud and Stenberg and continued their streak of hat tricks by Blues prospects in the World Juniors. Below are the highlights for anyone to see, and the Stancl goals are highlight reel worthy.
