Comparing Day 2 performances of World Juniors.

The St. Louis Blues for last year's 2024 World Juniors came out to seven players representing five countries: the United States, the host country of Sweden, Finland, Czechia, and neighboring Slovakia. The 7 players who attended the 2024 World Juniors were Jimmy Snuggerud (US), Dalibor Dvorsky (SVK), Juraj Pekarcik (SVK), Jakub Stancl (CZE), Aleksanteri Kaskimaki (FIN), Otto Stenberg (SWE), and Theo Lindstein (SWE).
2024 Day 2 performance
The breakdown for day 2 of the event is as follows:

Day 2 of the 2024 World Juniors was the quietest part of the tournament in terms of point production for Blues Prospects. Only Jakub Stancl of Czechia was able to post an assist that night. Average ice time was also lowest at 14:50. With 3 prospects sitting out on an off day, it was surprising that they were able to get at least one point in general.
2025 Day 2 Performance
Regarding this year's World Juniors being held in Canada, The Blues have a record setting 9 prospects being called up to represent their home countries. Returning to the World Juniors one last time were Jakub Stancl (CZE), Dalibor Dvorsky (SVK), Juraj Pekarcik (SVK), Theo Lindstein (SWE), and Otto Stenberg (SWE). Joining them this year were newly drafted players Colin Ralph (US), Adam Jiricek (CZE), Ondrej Kos (CZE), and Adam Jecho (CZE).

Day 2 for this year's tournament, saw 5 of 9 prospects having off days which is more than half compared to last year. While this is the case, the 4 players that did play tonight, showed up big in terms of ice time, and 3 of the 4 made impacts on the score sheet. Sadly no goals were scored but 3 assists were added to the total points so far this tournament. The average TOI came out to around 20:34, a 6:16 increase on TOI.
